Leveraging the Cure Violence model, they treat violence as an epidemic that can be stopped by mediating conflicts, preventing retaliation, and changing social norms. Through a combination of street-level outreach, public education campaigns, and community mobilization, CeaseFire Philadelphia strives to make the city streets safer for everyone.
